Known for this young but powerful anointed ministry that God has founded, Deidre Copps, Pastor of Dunamis Power Ministries, Inc., brings forth the uncompromised Word of God.  Raised in the Bronx County of New York in a household comprising of her father, a preacher of the gospel; her mother, a prayer warrior; and three siblings, Deidre learned the importance of prayer.  Her parents (now home with the Lord) were a great spiritual influence in her life.

DPMI is built on principals from the Word of God and the mission placed in this woman of God is nothing light of helping people overcome and empower challenges in their lives through God's message of faith.  "We must build a people of purpose, prayer and power".  Deidre has a burden to fulfill the obligation of leading hurting hearts to Jesus Christ by spreading the Good News and offering the Lord's gift of salvation to those who hear.

Having been a single parent, Deidre understands the obstacles women face every day.  She learned first hand experience of encountering and overcoming domestic/emotional abuse, homelessness and physical afflictions.  A once rebellious teenager, she now shares how the grace of God covered her life and how God saved her life once she surrendered her will to Him.  This vessel of God has overcome with the help of Jesus Christ and shares her testimonies abroad this nation.  Deidre also bears a special burden for women of God and knows the importance in invoking a spiritual birth to what God has destined for a woman's life.  She teaches power-impacted seminars that equip today's women with the necessary tools to become the scripturally based "Proverbs 31" woman.

In 1999, Deidre was phsically attacked with sickness in her body.  The doctors had informed her with their findings of ovarian cancer in her body.  She trusted the Lord in faith because she believed that there was a work to be done for the Kingdom of God.  She believed in the power of prayer and relied upon the Word of God.  Praise God, the Lord completely healed her body by the year 2000. He surely is Yahweh-Rophe.  Pastor Copps is thankful for the prayers from her spiritual father and the true prayer warriors who stood in the gap.  "Yes", the prayers of the righteous availeth much." Deidre shares her testimonies with the world to let people know that "God can do anything!".  She has been teaching the Word of God since 1999 and has been in full time ministry since 2002.  Deidre acquired her credentials from various Bible Institutes and ministries located in  New York City, and is currently in pursuit of obtaining her Doctorates degree.  She was ordained to the ministry in January, 2000 and called to the pastoral office in February, 2003.  She serves as Assistant Director to an affiliate clergy organization C.H.I.P.S. (Chaplains Helping in Police Situations) where she is on call 24/7 for crisis  intervention and assist the NYC Police Department when needed.   

This woman of God encourages to all, the importance of seeking and obeying the Lord.  To live a spirit- filled life and acknowledge Him first so that His will for our lives will be fulfilled.  This woman of God states frequently that "We the people, are the ones to determine whether the destiny in our lives will come into full fruition, for we are all called with a purpose and mandated to obey the Lord."
